Vacationing in Southern California

Posted by Wealth Group | 7:03 PM | 0 comments »

Just seeing the name "California" makes us think of fun, lots of sun, miles of sand and surf, and gorgeous tan people. Southern California fits this image to a tee. Even though the winters are a bit cooler than summer, the weather is really ideal year round. Unlike Florida and other east coast vacation states, California isn't subject to hurricanes. There is something for everyone in your family in Southern California.

Disneyland is the most popular attraction in Southern California for children and adults alike. Situated in Anaheim, Disneyland is a must-see if you are visiting this area. You can spend literally days there, so do not short- change yourself for time. There are many hotels in the area, even within walking distance so you can head back to the pool for a mid-afternoon swim and to recuperate for the evening festivities at the park. Disneyland can get extremely busy during peak seasons, so be ready for long line-ups, not only to get into the park, but for rides as well. But do not let this discourage you. The rides at Disneyland are fantastic and fun for the whole family. Children will find the entire experience absolutely enchanting. Be sure to get some pictures of your children with the Disneyland characters that can be found wandering through the park.

If Disneyland's rides aren't wild enough for you, try Six Flags Magic Mountain in Los Angeles. This mega-amusement park emphasizes rides guaranteed to get your adrenaline flowing and raise your heart rate. Six Flags Magic Mountain offers a huge variety of some of the most thrilling rides and roller coasters in North America. Six Flags Magic Mountain's claim to fame is some of the fastest, highest, and most innovative coasters around. Just like Disneyland, peak tourist season brings lots of visitors to Six Flags, so be prepared to stand in lines and go early.

The beach is one of the biggest reasons people visit Southern California. There is usually a cool breeze coming off the ocean so even the hottest days can be enjoyable. Be careful though, the balmy breeze may lead you to believe that the sun isn't as hot as it is and many tourists have ended up with horrendous sunburns. Sunblock is a must. Some of the most attractive beaches are in Malibu and Santa Monica. Santa Monica is a fabulous place to spend the day. Pacific Palisades Park is simply beautiful with its palm trees and cliffs overlooking the ocean. You can also head up to the Promenade for some high-end and funky shopping. The beaches are typically well-kept and clean. Parking is a hot commodity so be sure to head there early.

When you plan your visit to Southern California allow enough time to sun worship, site-see, and generally have a great time with your family.

Honeymooning in Jamaica

Getting married? Good for you! Now, we all know planning a wedding can sometimes be a stressful affair. You have to reserve a location for your ceremony, plan the menu for the reception, book a photographer, etc., etc. Then there's the honeymoon! You have only one choice, and it better be good, right? It is your honeymoon, after all. When was the last time you turned to your future spouse and said, "honey, let's pick someplace mundane for our honeymoon."

Well, if you want a mundane honeymoon destination, I can't help you. But, if you want to honeymoon in of the most gorgeous and romantic spots on earth, then let me suggest Jamaica, an island nation in the Caribbean, known for its scenery and amazing weather. The popular Jamaican poem sums up the tropical climate pretty accurately: "We have neither summer nor winter/Neither autumn nor spring…."

Okay, so it's pretty and the weather's great. Anything else? Consider this: Jamaica is a very popular romantic getaway, chosen by honeymooners the world over, which means that you will have a great choice of resorts that have age restrictions. What does that mean for you? Well, while you two are getting to one another better in your room, you won't hear the endless stream of "Marco" "Polo", "Marco" "Polo" being shouted by children at the pool. In addition, an age-restricted resort usually provides a more romantic atmosphere than one which caters to families. Now, there's nothing wrong with children. You may end up having a few yourselves. But, you don't want to have to hear them on your honeymoon, right?

A couple all-inclusive, adult-only resorts you might look into include:

Hedonism III in Runaway Bay

877-467-8737

Set in Jamaica's North Coast, you'll find swim-up rooms, a Roman tub in every room, and a see-through slide that snakes through the disco. That's right - they don't call it "Hedonism" for nothing.

This all-inclusive resort includes such things as: Three meals daily (two restaurants), all drinks (premium brands included), 24-hour snacks, nude beach, scuba diving, water-skiing, windsurfing, sailing, snorkeling, swimming pool, Jacuzzis, kayaks, tennis courts, volleyball, basketball, air conditioned squash courts, fitness center, aerobics, bicycles, ping pong, daily and nightly entertainment, trapeze, disco and piano bar.

Couples Negril

800-268-7537

One of the four Couples all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica.

This all-inclusive resort offers such things as: All meals (three restaurants), all drinks (four bars), swim-up bar, two Jacuzzis, clothing-optional beach, sailing, scuba diving equipment and instruction, water skiing, snorkeling, canoeing, water tricycles, water aerobics, tennis, weight room, unlimited golf at Negril Hills Golf Club (cart/caddy extra), nightly entertainment.

While on your honeymoon you may also want to venture out of your room, get away from the resort and experience all that Jamaica has to offer. On Jamaica you have so many choices of activities and interesting places to see that you certainly won't be able to experience them all :

*Beaches

*Biking

*Equestrian Activities

*Fishing Parks

*Gardens

*Golf

*Hiking

*Plantation Tours

*Rafting

*Safaris

*Tubing

*Water Activities

*Waterfalls

Jamaica offers all "the three Rs" a honeymoon is meant for: rest, rejuvenation and romance.

One of the most exciting parts of the wedding experience is honeymoon. That is why, planning for it should involve careful planning and consideration so that everything could go perfectly.

Here are the simple things you should consider when planning for your honeymoon:

· Time

Like planning any type of vacation, time is the most important factor when planning for honeymoon. Take note that time influence the number of people having their vacation, weather, cost of honeymoon package, and type of accommodation available. Setting it at the perfect timing would give contribute to the success of your honeymoon.

· Destination and the means to get there

Identifying where to go is an easy task. Getting there is another. If you have selected where you want to go, think about the possible and your most preferred means of getting there. Whether you are cruising, taking a bus, or flying on an airplane, you should identify your need and respond to that.

· The destination amenities

Whether you choose the Caribbean honeymoon package or the European honeymoon tour, knowing the type of amenities available in your destination should be one of your top priorities. Imagine this: you arrive at your destination, rest for the night, and wake up in the morning hoping that you have breakfast in bed. Then you realize that the hotel does not offer such service. This is just simple disappointment that can happen if you do not give attention to details. Making sure that you what you want could be provided in by your honeymoon destination is very important.

· The suite

Whether you are on a cruise or at an exotic resort, making sure that your suite could meet your requirements is essential. Hotels, resorts, and cruise lines have honeymoon suites available for your. Check on them including the services that are offered.

· Honeymoon Package

The internet is a rich source of information about honeymoon packages. Here you can scan through different types of honeymoon packages that can suit you.

· Budget

Of course you cannot go to your destination without setting your budget. We mention this on the last part in order to give you enough time to make research on your honeymoon. And after seeing them all, it is time for you to set your budget (basing on the things you have seen).

After these, book your honeymoon and don't forget to confirm it together with the details of the trip.

The Benefits And Risks Of Honey Consumption

Posted by Wealth Group | 11:03 AM | 0 comments »

Beekeeping is an ancient activity. There is evidence from rock paintings that suggests beekeeping was happening as early as 13.000 BC. The ancient Egyptians were excellent beekeepers, as were the Greeks.

Honey is produced as food by the honeybees to sustain them during the winter months. The bees take nectar from flowers, take it to the hive, and, by concentrating it, make honey. It is stored within the hive on structures called combs.

The flavour, aroma and colour of honey differ depending on the flowers from which the bee removed the nectar. Climate, humidity and altitude also have an affect on the characteristics of honey. Clear honey has a weak flavour and aroma. Dark honey is rich in proteins and minerals. Common flavours of honey include orange blossom, tupelo, buckwheat, clover, blackberry, and blueberry. In Australia, the most common honey comes from eucalyptus trees, such as red gum, yellow gum and stringybark. Other countries are also noted for their honey, including Tasmanian leatherwood honey, Greek wild thyme honey, and French lavender and acacia honey.

There are three forms of honey, liquid, partially crystallized and granulated. Honey can be used as a food, preservative, or medicine. As a food, honey is rich in fructose, sucrose and glucose, making it a natural source of energy. Its antioxidant properties make it ideal as a preservative in foods, including meat, poultry and pastry. For about 4,000 years, honey has been used as a medicine. The ancient Egyptians used it for the treatment of wounds. Today it is also used to treat burns and skin ulcers. As a dressing on wounds, it provides a moist healing environment. Honey rapidly clears infection and reduces inflammation. Honey kills bacteria and prevents yeast infections because neither can survive in its low moisture content. Thus wounds are protected from infections and they heal quicker, making skin grafting unnecessary.

Honey diluted with water has been used to treat sore throats and coughs, inflammations, some eye diseases, athlete's foot and fungal diseases, upset stomachs, constipation and diarrhea, cardiovascular disease and cancer. It is also effective against antibiotic-resistant bacteria, such as salmonella, and H. pylori, which cause stomach ulcers.

Honey is used extensively in the cosmetics industry in moisturizers, lotions, facial creams and bath and shower products. It is an anti-irritant, making it suitable for sensitive-skin and baby products. Honey is a natural humectant, which means it both attracts and retains moisture. Many hair care products include honey in their basic ingredients.

There are some downsides to honey. Commercially processed honey is filtered and contains few allergens. Raw honey, on the other hand, retains a greater amount of pollens and may cause a reaction in people who are allergic to pollen. The reactions are usually small, but severe reactions, although rare, have occurred.

There are also several types of honey which are toxic to humans. Bees can produce "Mad Honey" from rhododendrons, mountain laurels and azalea flowers. The nectar of these plants sometimes contains grayanotoxin, which is poisonous to humans but harmless to bees. Toxic honey also results when bees gather honeydew produced by vine hopper insects feeding on the tutu plant in New Zealand. This introduces poisonous tutin into the honey and as little as one teaspoon of this can produce severe effects or death in humans. To reduce the risk of tutin poisoning, New Zealand beekeepers are required to closely monitor tutu, vine hopper, and foraging conditions within three kilometers of their bee hives.

In addition, honey isn't for everybody. It contains Clostridium botulinum spores which cause botulism. While adults and children can safely digest the spores without harm, babies under one year of age cannot. They are susceptible to infant botulism, because their gastrointestinal tracts are not fully working.

Top 10 Romantic Getaways in the U.S.

How do you make a top-ten list of something subjective like honeymoon locations? Systematically, that's how.

Highly Scientific Ranking

To create this list, I started with general Internet searches for top honeymoon spots in the U.S. I tried to weed out the advertisers and focused instead on the news and information websites, such as A MSNBC and USA Today.

Next, I began putting the various lists into a spreadsheet, and then cross-referenced the data to find the ten locations that occurred most often on the most lists. When that proved to be way too complicated, I just picked the ten locations I liked the most! Voila … a top-ten romantic getaway list (in no particular order).

Top 10 Romantic Getaways in the United States

1. Mountain Cabin – Part One

If you're the kind of person that equates "romantic getaway" with "mountain seclusion," then a cabin in the Rockies might be just the thing. The popular ski towns of Aspen and Vail, Colorado are popular for another reason – cabin retreats. Imagine the snow falling around your warm and cozy cabin. Imagine the smell of hot chocolate and the bubbling sound of a hot tub. And just imagine being there with the one you love!

2. Mountain Cabin – Part Two

The Smokey Mountains come up on a lot of romantic getaway lists. For instance, each year approximately 10,000 people get married in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, a popular vacation spot in the Smokey Mountains. Because of this, the mountain town has become known as the unofficial wedding and honeymoon capital of the South. With its wooded seclusion, small-town charm, and breathtaking mountain views, it's no wonder so many people equate "Gatlinburg" with "romantic retreat."

3. Bed & Breakfast in Vermont

Manchester, Vermont offers all the ingredients of a classic New England getaway -- white-steepled churches, bed and breakfast accommodations, romantic dining and great skiing.

In more recent times, shopping has also taken root in Manchester. The city's website, ManchesterV says: "Today, visitors to our community come to enjoy Brooks Brothers, Ralph Lauren and J. Crew, as well as the more traditional recreational activities."

4. Cape Cod, Massachusetts

There's a reason the Kennedy family owned vacation homes in Cape Cod. This New England seascape is the essence of "small beach town" tranquility. Don't expect an action-packed beach-resort experience – Cape Cod is not that kind of vacation spot. But if your idea of relaxation is a seaside stroll along historic harbors, biking and boating, and visiting an antique shop or two, then this is your place.

5. San Francisco, California

San Francisco is a picturesque city with a diverse mix of cultures and populations. It's also a popular destination for couples in search of a romantic getaway. Between the Golden Gate Bridge and their world-famous trolleys, San Francisco offers something for everyone.

As an alternative, you might also consider adjacent Sausalito, California, a Mediterranean-style village that marks the gateway to California Wine Country. And speaking of California wine…

6. California Wine Country

If your idea of romance involves good wine and good scenery, you can't go wrong with California Wine Country as your destination. Napa Valley and Sonoma County are about an hour's drive north of San Francisco, and they have long been an attraction for honeymooners, wine lovers, and wine-loving honeymooners. Add in the scenery and the availability of bed-and-breakfast-style lodging, and you have all the makings of a great romantic getaway.

7. Big Island, Hawaii

Sure, some parts of Hawaii are quite touristy. (Waikiki comes to mind.) But there are plenty of locations on the volcano-formed island that offer beauty, seclusion and a nature-rich experience you can't find anywhere else.

On the Big Island of Hawaii, the Kona Village Resort is famous for providing comfort and luxury in an otherwise remote tropical region. The resort is also a popular spot for honeymooners, and it comes up on quite a few "top ten" lists like this one.

8. Charleston, South Carolina

I grew up in Virginia and have traveled all throughout the Carolinas. But when I think of "Southern hospitality," one place comes to mind above all others. Charleston, South Carolina. Marjabelle Young Stewart, one of America's well-known etiquette experts, once called Charleston the "most mannerly" city in the U.S., and I think she was right.

Founded in 1670, Charleston held significance during both the American Revolution and the Civil War. To this day, it retains much of its old-world charm and gentility. Conde Nast Traveler has named it a top-ten domestic destination for nine consecutive years.

There's one other thing I love about Charleston. I'm a southerner by birth, and I vote for Charleston as having the most delightful of all the southern dialects.

9. Niagara Falls

Okay, so this one's a bit cliché. But the reason Niagara Falls has been in so many movies, songs and water-cooler conversations is because so many people flock to it with romantic notions in mind. Straddling the border between the U.S. (New York) and Canada, Niagara Falls has attracted honeymooners and getaway-ers for 200 years.

In fact, if you played word-association and said "Niagara Falls," most people would probably say one of two things – waterfall or honeymoon. For that reason alone, Niagara Falls has earned its place on this list.

10. Home Sweet Home

If you consider your home a cozy refuge from the world, it is in a sense a getaway. After all, home is a place to get away from lots of things -- work, school, crowds, relatives, noise, traffic and hassle. It's also a place where you're the most comfortable. So there's certainly nothing unromantic about a crackling fire, a bottle of champagne, and a table for two in home sweet home.

Boost Your Fertility While You Sleep

Posted by Wealth Group | 7:03 PM | 0 comments »

Everyone is aware of the cycles of the sun and moon. They give structure to our days, months, and seasons. But did you know that the sun and moon can influence your fertility?

When you are in sync with the earth's natural rhythms and cycles you can boost your fertility. If you work against nature's rhythms as many of us do, then you may be harming your delicate fertility balance.

Your biological clock is intimately linked to your reproductive system by utilizing the same hormones that trigger ovulation and sperm maturation. Therefore both women and men are affected by respecting or ignoring their natural rhythms.

Importance of Bright Light

Getting adequate sunlight or other full spectrum light during the day is key to optimum fertility for many reasons. Vitamin D is created in our bodies when we are exposed to sunlight and Vitamin D deficiencies have been linked to infertility.

Adequate sunlight also helps regulate circadian rhythms which allow you to sleep better at night. Regular exposure to the sun also helps you maintain a strong immune system which is necessary to maintain a healthy pregnancy. Women who get more sunlight also have consistent and stronger menstrual cycles.

Finally, bright light prevents your body from overproducing melatonin which suppresses fertility. This might explain why it is easier for women to conceive in southern regions and during the summer months.

Importance of Darkness and Full-moon Light

Many researchers believe that prior to the introduction of electricity into our homes, all women menstruated during the new moon and ovulated during the full moon. This has been proven by studying cultures today that do not use electricity. Women in these cultures sleep in close to total darkness except for the days surrounding the full moon.

The small amount of light from the full moon is enough to halt melatonin production long enough for ovulation to occur. Most women can synchronize with the cycles of the moon in about three to four months by altering the light level while they sleep. Coordinating menstruation not only strengthens your cycle in many ways but it also makes it much easier to pinpoint the optimal timing for intercourse.

Darkness also plays an important role in optimal fertility by triggering melatonin, on most dark nights, which leads to a good nights sleep. Just make sure to prevent overproduction with bright light in the morning.

Deep sleep helps restore and rejuvenate the reproductive system. Lack of sleep can increase cortisol levels, lead to an increased use of caffeine and other fertility reducing substances, disrupt your hormone balance, cause depression which in itself can affect fertility or can lead to relationship problems with your partner. In extreme cases sleep deprivation can stop ovulation altogether.

How to synchronize with nature's cycles

Get at least one hour of bright sunlight a day

Try to get bright light soon after waking

Use full spectrum indoor bulbs during the winter months

Use a light simulation device 15-30 minutes first thing in the morning and once at night(particularly in winter)

Aim for total darkness at night. Use room darkening shades. Avoid the use of any lights whatsoever

On the three days of the full moon, try to bathe yourself in soft light while you sleep. A light from a closet, a 75-100 watt nightlight or even opening your blinds to the street light should do the trick.

Try to go to sleep with sun and get up with the sun. You might be surprised if you do not use lights or TV, how sleepy you get.

Make love during the full moon

Keep sleep and wake times consistent and avoid shift work. If you are tracking your ovulation signs, then you should taking your basal body temperature at the same time every morning anyway.

Efforts to conceive can be challenging and heartbreaking. The fertility enhancing methods mentioned here are easy, free, and painless. They will boost your overall health as well as your fertility so if you are trying to conceive it can only help and not hurt to synchronize your cycles with the earth.

How the Full Moon Affects You

Posted by Wealth Group | 3:03 AM | 0 comments »

Every month there is a two and a half day perod when the moon is in the exact opposite zodiac sign as the sun. During this time, it appears full in the sky, in its most vivid brightness.

This time when the sun and moon are in opposition to each other holds interesting consequences and opportunities. For one thing, it has long been known that more people punch each other during the full moon than at other times. There have been mythological stories of ghosts, werewolves, and vampires all associated with the full moon.

For the most part the sun -moon opposition seems to bring conflicts in people to a head, where they must in some way be dealt with. In a sense, its a matter of degree. For the normal minded person, the full moon makes them more aware of problems that have to be solved. Stress levels though increased at this time, are nevertheless manageable.

However, for individuals with neurotic compulsions, this opposition pushes things beyond the comfort zones of most individuals. What seemed tolerable, no longer is. What could be ignored, seems overwhelming.

While most of us will not turn into werewolves, there is a strong propensity for abnormal behavior during the full moon. Some people go off their diets. Others take on too much.

Yet what is overlooked the most during this time is the opportunity the full moon gives to get a completely objective look at oneself. All subjective consciousness is balanced by the exact opposite view of oneself through the full moon opposition. Thus, for those of us who are willing to confront ourselves, this time every month can be one of great realizaitons about ourselves from a more objective viewpoint that can lead to much spiritual growth.

There is a saying- "We may not always get what we want, but somehow we always get what we need."

The full moon gives us this, as it balances our subjective desires, so that instead of only feeling what we want, we also get a chance to feel what we need.

While for some this causes the frustration often associated with the full moon, it really is a tremendous opportunity to overcome our childish tendencies to be selfish, and realize there is more to us and our lives that can be explored.

Air Valves are essential components complete pipeline design. The designed pipeline flow capacity will not be achieved without essential air valves because of air pocket buildups which can cause flow capacities to be reduced by 5% to 15% of designed flow.... unfortunately reduced capacities may go unnoticed because air is an invisible culprit in pipelines. Air pockets increase energy consumption because pumping operation will be at higher heads to overcome air constricted flow.

Air valves are not expensive and more than pay their way by greatly improving pipeline efficiency. Air Valves represent low cost insurance to protect expensive Pipelines and Pump Stations. It is a well known fact; air pockets are a major cause of pressure surges and water hammer in pipelines.

There are many different kinds of backflow valves. Check out for which kind of valves you can use in your area. Atmospheric vacuum breaker, a cheaper valve installed on the pipe right after the control valve. It needs to be installed higher than the highest sprinkler head operated by that valve-check with local officials to find out if there's a code. You probably need to use this kind if you have six or more valves.

Pressure vacuum breakers are similar to the ones above except that you only need to install one of them along the mainline leading to the control valves.

Anti-siphon valves, the most common type, have a built-in atmospheric vacuum breaker and also must be installed higher than the highest sprinkler head.

Reduced pressure backflow preventers are more expensive, used mostly in commercial irrigation installations. If you want a top-quality valve, this is the one. Double check backflow preventers; they're legal in many places, illegal in others.

An Introduction to Moonstone Gems

Posted by Wealth Group | 3:03 AM | 0 comments »

Gems are often valued for their appearance or monetary value. As this introduction to moonstone gems details, certain gems carry a more spiritual value than monetary.

An Introduction to Moonstone Gems

Moonstone is one of the most mythical of all gemstones. With its exotic, lunar name and its milky unique rainbow sheen, moonstone is highly prized by many practitioners of crystal and stone healing, as well as some mystic religions. Moonstone is a sacred stone to the people of India, and was named by the Romans for its ability to reflect moon light, making it a sacred stone to this culture as well. Today, the many aspects of moonstone gems continue to make them a sought after stone.

Moonstone is one of the birthstones that are used for the month of June (along with pearl) and it is also used to represent the 13th wedding anniversary. Gifts of jewelry made with this stone are commonly given for this anniversary. Moonstone comes from the mineral family of feldspar, and it is the most valuable of all stones in the feldspar family. It is composed of the mineral albite (which helps to give the stone its blue sheen) and orthoclase feldspar. Moonstone can come in many different colors, ranging from the typical milky white or gray to blue, peach, pink, yellow, brown and transparent.

The most beautiful type of moonstone is rainbow moonstone, which is a milky white to gray color with a blue and rainbow sheen that catches the light. The moonstone gem is found in several different areas of the world, such as Brazil, India, Germany, Madagascar, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Tanzania and the US. It is prized in many cultures and used in Zodiac, traditional crystal medicine, Ayurvedic medicine and many other areas.

Moonstone gems many mystical properties offer the wearer or the possessor protection and healing in different ways. It is believed that moonstone brings good fortune, protects women and children (who are generally under the protection of the moon), enhances passion and balances yin and yang. In ancient times, one belief stated that if a person held a moonstone in their mouth during the full moon, they could tell the future. Moonstones were also used to assure good crops.

Moonstone gems have also been attributed to have healing qualities, a notion generally believed in some cultures who value stones for spiritual healing. These properties are said to promote digestion, stop nosebleeds, and protect against epilepsy and sun stroke. Whatever the reason you choose, owning a moonstone is a good idea, even if it's just because of its beauty.

Preparing For The Honeymoon Trip

Posted by Wealth Group | 7:03 PM | 0 comments »

Preparing for the wedding alone is already a headache. But it does not mean that you disregard the preparation for your honeymoon trip. Since wedding does not end after the exchange of vows, preparing for the honeymoon trip is equally important with preparing the wedding. And since this trip is the best time for you to spend your first days together as husband and wife, it should be taken into great account.

To make your honeymoon preparation less worrisome, here are some tips you can follow:

Plan ahead of time

Preparation should begin early. If you want to go to a honeymoon trip after the wedding celebration, then you should have already prepared for it long before the wedding day. Meanwhile if you will go to a honeymoon trip weeks after your wedding day, it is not an excuse to plan late. Preparing for the wedding day is also not an excuse to plan after the wedding. Everything should be prepared. Make sure you have already determined or have booked and made reservation on the location of your trip.

Create a checklist of everything

If the schedule is hectic and there is so much to do, you surely would forget some important things. Do avoid this from happening; create a checklist of everything you need to prepare. This does not only go with the honeymoon trip; it should also apply to the whole wedding preparation itself.

Finalize your travel documents

Make sure that your travel documents are all set before your honeymoon trip. Doing this early would save you a lot of trouble when the day closes near. If you are traveling outside the country, if is advisable to complete all your travel documents and keep them in a safe place.

Confirm your booking and reservation

Booking your flight and accommodation is not enough. You should confirm them days before you go. Making sure that everything is set and prepared once you arrive should be your primary concern.

Relax

After you're stressful wedding preparation, you surely would not want to add pressure on your head. Keep in mind that one reason why you are going for a honeymoon trip is to relax, so you should relax. There is no reason why you should make the preparation for your honeymoon trip troublesome. Wedding preparation is stressful enough. You should not add some more.

How To Choose Your Honeymoon Destination

Posted by Wealth Group | 11:03 AM | 0 comments »

Although there are some magazines and advertisements available for you to look at when you are still deciding for your honeymoon destination, the most probable thing to happen to you is to select not the best for you but the most advertised destination.

Here's how to choose your honeymoon destination, unadulterated; personalized style:

When are you going?

The first thing you have to identify when choosing your honeymoon destination is not where or how will you spend your honeymoon; but the "when". Most honeymoon destinations have their season-highs and season-lows. These are influenced by the weather on the location. Activities and some amenities depend on in the time of the year. The number of visitor also relies on time. Some hotels and resorts are best on a particular time of the year. Some also offer special prices on a particular season. If you would want to know what you would get and the things you can do on your honeymoon, try to figure out first when will you hold your honeymoon.

What are the activities you would like to do?

Making sure you know what you want to do on your honeymoon destination will certainly make your selection easier. For example, you like to do water sports on your honeymoon; or you like have a luxurious pampering: or you want to explore culture and history; or you want to just relax and enjoy each other's company. Knowing this will keep you on your aim to get the honeymoon destination of your choice.

Set your budget and identify the possible honeymoon destination…

The next big questions in planning your honeymoon are the budget and the destination. After you have identified the time of the year of your honeymoon, you must now set your budget. You should also have identified the your possible honeymoon destinations. Doing this at the same time will let you figure out how much money will you have to take out and how luxurious or simple your location would be.

If you have a shortlist of possible destination that fits your budget, the next you should do is identify what places offer the best accommodation, amenities, services, sights, luxury, and comfort among others. Then, choose one that is right for both of you.

Remember that the place should not necessarily be the least expensive; it should be the place where you will be able to enjoy and have fun together.

5 Honeymoon Money Saving Tips

Posted by Wealth Group | 3:03 AM | 0 comments »

The honeymoon will always be an important aspect in every wedding plan no matter how tight the budget is. While the wedding ceremony is the highlight of every relationship ending up in the altar, the couple will always look forward to the honeymoon.

Every newly- wedded couple will always feel the stress of wedding preparations. Even couples who are wise enough and who are capable of getting a wedding planner will not be exempt from the after- wedding desire to be stress- free. Thus, almost all couples will always consider their honeymoon the best part of getting married.

Honeymoon is a time to rest after all the wedding- related stress; it is a time to enjoy the company of each other away from the peering eyes of friends and relatives. It is a time for the couple to get to know each other better and intimately.

While majority of couples want their honeymoon to be wonderful, there is always the financial aspect that they have to contend with. The wedding ceremony may be the focal point of the whole preparation but the preparation itself requires a budget. The bride and groom and the entourage has to pay for their wedding dresses and tuxedos. The couple has to pay for the wedding services, the license, the wedding cake, the dinner and all wedding requirements.

What usually happens is that the couple spends too much on the wedding preparation that they end up having little and sometimes no budget for the honeymoon. But who said a couple could not have a romantic honeymoon if they o not have a large budget?

A honeymoon is basically already a romantic event because it is the time when the newly- wedded couple bond with each other. This alone should make the honeymoon romantic and memorable. Of course, there are at least five ways to make honeymoon a memorable event, even for a meager budget.

Every couple should take note of these five honeymoon money saving tips so they can have a fabulous time on their honeymoon without worrying about large financial requirements.

1. Avail of the services of a honeymoon registry so the guests will know what you need and want as a wedding gift

Gone are the days when a couple has to suffer in silence while opening the fifth identical wedding gift they have received; a dinnerware set. Through the wedding registry, the couple can inform the guests that they want or that they are in need of a honeymoon package. Guests who can afford such package can give them a free honeymoon instead of giving a gift that the couple does not need or a gift that they already have. Some of their friends may pool their resources together and gift them with a honeymoon package. This would mean great savings for the couple as well as a fabulous and free honeymoon.

2. Plan the honeymoon ahead of time and avail of promotions offered by resorts as early as one year away from the wedding date

Planning is till the best way to keep your resources intact and become more cost effective in your expenditures. With proper planning, the couple can take advantage of honeymoon packages or resort promotions offered by resort owners. There are honeymoon destinations that are offering big discounts for reservations made ahead of time. Some even offer as much as fifty percent discount for couples who book their honeymoon months before their wedding. This is to ensure the future income of the resorts. By availing of these promotions, the couple will not only be able to save on their finances but will also be able to plan their honeymoon itinerary ahead of time.

3. Spend your honeymoon in a fabulous tourist island but take advantage of home- stay programs offered by some areas

Some areas offer home- stay programs to promote their tourism at a lower cost. Local governments sometimes promote their tourism by gathering responsible folks and training them to become home- stay partners. Under this scheme, the homes of respected locals are accredited by the tourism officials and they become official tourist h9ome- hotels. Home stay accommodations are generally less expensive than hotels. Availing of this package can save the couple thousands of dollars that would have been spent for hotel accommodation alone.

4. Why not try being one with nature and go camping for your honeymoon instead of staying in an expensive hotel?

Couples who are nature lovers can go backpacking for their honeymoon and enjoy others company with only the moon and the stars as witnesses. His could be the best and the most romantic idea for a non- expensive honeymoon. Instead of paying hundreds of dollars for hotel accommodations save the money for other important matters and take a nice trip to a deserted island.

5. Timing is important so plan your honeymoon, if not the wedding during off season

Tourist and honeymoon facilities offer as much as fifty percent discount for tourists who would visit their establishments during non- peak seasons. Do not time the honeymoon with summer or other dates when tourists would be flocking to the islands or resorts because this would be very expensive. Visit these areas during the off- peak season can mean less cost and more privacy.

What's an Orbit and How Does it Work?

Posted by Wealth Group | 11:03 AM | 0 comments »

Orbits

I recently walked through an elementary school hallway while volunteering to help watch some kids during a field trip. I was going to help the kindergartners but I got lost and ended up in the 3rd grade classroom. The kids were all making diagrams of our solar system. They were working in little teams. Each team had a big piece of black butcher paper. They were pasting colored circles to the paper and decorating them with colored pencils. One of the little kids asked the teacher “How come the planets go in a circle around the Sun?” The teacher replied “Because they are in orbit.” The kid asked “What’s an orbit?” The teacher said “It’s a path that a planet follows around the Sun.” I laughed to my self at her response as I left the room and went on to the find kindergartners.

The field trip was perfect; we went to a pumpkin patch. The kids got all muddy and had a good time. It was cold out but it was a clear sunny day and even though it was daytime the moon was up. On the buss ride back to the school I stared at the moon with reverence. The universe we live in is so complex and amazing. It’s a beautiful thing and the more we understand it, the more beautiful it becomes.

An orbit is the circular path witch one object travels around another object when the two are locked together by centripetal forces like gravity. The moon orbits the Earth, the Earth orbits the Sun

It is a widely known and accepted fact that an object in motion will move in a straight path and will stay in motion on that path unless acted upon by an outside force. With this in mind it seems strange that planets travel on circular paths instead of straight lines. For this reason Im going to talk a bit about gravity.

Gravity

Newton’s law of gravity states that: every particle in the universe attracts every other particle with a force that is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. In other words: stuff likes to stick together. Objects pull on each other. Objects of greater mass pull harder than objects of lesser mass, and the closer two objects are to each other, the stronger the pull will be. The earth is a big particle and its gravity pulls on our bodies. Our bodies also have their own center of gravity witch pulls on the earth; we just don’t notice it because the earth is so much bigger then we are.

We don’t currently know why gravity exists but I’m glad it does. Particles floating through space stuck together because of gravity and eventually formed Stars, planets, and moons. If it weren’t for gravity, our beautiful planet Earth and the Sun that gives us life would not exist. Gravitational force is spherical. It pulls everything towards a center point. This is why planets and other celestial bodies are usually spherical too.

How do orbits work?

With the above information it’s hard to see why the Moon doesn’t fall into the Earth and why the Earth doesn’t fall into the Sun. Let me explain by borrowing some ideas from Sir Isaac Newton. If you climbed to the top of a super high mountain and shot a gun strait forward, the bullet would be pulled by gravity and would arch downward until finally hitting the ground. It may travel several miles before hitting. If you shot the bullet faster, the curve by which the bullet falls would be wider and it would travel further before hitting the ground. If you had a super powerful gun, you could shoot the bullet so fast that the curve at which it falls would be wider then the curve of the Earth’s surface. If that were the case, the bullet would never hit the ground. It would keep spinning around the earth for ever, always falling, never stopping. That is how an orbit works.

If two objects are aimed directly at each other and are slowly moving towards one another, as they hit each others gravity fields they will both begin to accelerate and then smash together. In some rare cases, if objects are aimed close to each other but not directly at one another, they can get caught in each others gravitational fields and spin in circles around each other for eternity.

Obit based technologies

Learning about orbits is more than just fun and uplifting. Scientists have done extensive research into the principles of orbiting masses. With the data received from research, many new technologies have been developed. The first man made satellite (a satellite is any object that orbits another object) was first put into space in 1957. Today the sky is littered with satellites which provide us with all sorts of global communication possibilities. We can get cheep long distance through voIP networks. We can like high definition satellite TV, and a company called starband can even get you satellite internet. With the help of a high-tech satellite finder (a machine that automatically aims receivers at satellites they find in the sky) you can even get satellite TV and internet on the road. It’s a good time to be alive.

Teamwork

Teamwork is essential to the survival of any organization and the Honeybee is the worlds leading teamwork expert. The Honeybees amazing organization methods have been tried to perfection over the past 35million years. If you are attempting to run a multibillion dollar cooperation, or a small nonprofit organization, there are many lessons taught by the bee which can be applied directly to you.

Understanding Your Mission

The Honeybee has a very clear mission, it is the same mission that virtually all living things share: to multiply and fill the earth. This is their main objective. In order for any organization to reach their objective, they need a plan. The plan of the honeybee just happens to be four fold: They will build a hive, protect the hive with force, sustain themselves with honey made from pollen and nectar, and reproduce.

Like the Honeybee, all successful organizations must have a clear mission. Finding a mission isn’t usually hard to do. If you are a corporation or small business, your main objective is to make money. If you are a church, it is to teach your faith (at least it probably should be). The tricky part is coming up with a plan to fulfill your mission. You may find this to be the most difficult part of running an organization, it is also the most rewarding when you see it all working in the end. Hats off to the Honeybee, they have done a perfect job.

Team building and delegation

The Honeybee has constructed a marvelous team and every member of the team knows what their part is. The Queen bee lays the eggs (2,000 a day if she’s in good health). The Drone bee mates with the Queen (the poor guy dies in the process). Nurse workers take care of eggs and larva. Mortuary bees dispose of the dead and see that the hive is sterile. Soldier bees protect the hive from predators and intruders from other hives. Foragers seek out and collect food for the entire family (that can be more than a 100,000 mouths to feed).

For us to be successful we too must know our part in the team. We all need to understand the main goal and devote ourselves to our specific responsibilities. Delegation is essential for success. Giving specific titles and duties to your team members is an essential part of delegation. Some people (especially in small organizations) feel that giving specific titles and duties will limit their team member’s potential. This can be true to some degree but if specific titles and responsibilities are not given, you will find that nothing will ever get done. Imagine a Rock band getting on stage and still not knowing who will play the drums. To avoid limiting your team members’ potential, you should assign flexible titles. Ringo was the drummer for the Beetles, but every once in a while he’d write and sing a song or two.

The drone bee exists for the sole purpose of mating with the Queen, but when the temperature is high in the hive he will join in with the workers and keep things cool by fluttering his wings like a fan.

Replacement training and promotion

The Honeybee has an automatic system of replacement training and promotion to help the hive stay ahead of the curve and safe in an emergency. The work of a hive is divided into two main areas: inside chores, and outside chores. A young bee starts by working inside as a nurse and when she matures she leaves to work outside as a forager. A forager bee gathers food and gives it to the rest of the hive; when so doing, she passes along a chemical in the food that stops the young nurses from maturing and becoming foragers. When a forager dies, she no longer passes the chemicals on to the nurses. Without this chemical, the insiders mature and become foragers. No one misses a beat. If a mass loss in foragers occurs, a mass number of nurses will leave, and the hive will slow in its baby production until things are back on track.

In your organization you should aim for smooth replacement transitions as well. Never become over dependant on a single individual. People will leave your organization, sometimes without proper notice. Everyone should know how to do more than just their one specific job. See that everyone is trained in at least three responsibilities so that they can take over in case of an emergency.

Seasonal help and layoffs

Drone (male) bees only mate once and it’s to the death. The rest of the time they really don’t have much to do. In mild climates this is fine, but in places with harsh winters, the hives can’t handle the mooching. When breeding season is over and winter comes there aren’t usually many drones left, but if there are some still around, they are unfortunately forced to leave. The Queen will stop laying drone eggs until spring. The hatchlings of spring will be ready to mate come breeding time and the colony will be happy and well.

Nobody likes to lay people off. It’s stressful on everyone. Feelings are hurt, and people are left with no place to go. Overall morale decreases as employees fear that they might be next. Avoid layoffs at all costs! The best way to do this is to keep full time staff at a minimum and get temporary help when the workload it too high. If you hire an individual and tell him his job will be temporary, he should not be hurt or ill prepared when his job comes to an end. Keep in mind that a person who’s job is only temporary, may have difficulty dedicating himself to the organization unless there is a possibility for him to be promoted.

Always be direct and honest with your workers, do not give them hope of promotion if the possibility does not really exist. If you manipulate your team, they will revolt. Hopefully they’ll be a little more merciful than the honeybee. When nurse bees discover that the queen is no longer doing her job properly, they kill and replace her. Checks and balances are always good to have.

Outsourcing

The Honeybee has encountered several problems that they were unable to solve on there own. In the early 1990s, a varroa mite infestation spread across the United States. These parasitic mites were killing bees by the millions. The bees were not prepared to defend themselves on their own so they went for help. Human beings are very good at killing pests. Bees gave honey to man and man rid bees of their mite infestations. It was a win-win situation.

If you have a problem in your organization that you don’t know how to fix, find someone who does. Outsourcing can be essential to survival.

Keep an edge on the competition

Everyone loves honey, but we all know that it’s not fun to be stung by a bee. When a bee stings another insect or small creature it injects a bit of venom into the wound and flies away. When it attacks a human or large mammal it releases the whole stinger. The detached stinger is actually two barbed spikes attached by a muscle that pulsates causing the two hooks to dig deeper and deeper into the flesh injecting poison as it goes. The result is excruciating pain. This usually stops enemies from advancing. European Honeybees only attack when they feel the hive is in danger or when they are personally threatened or injured.

Your organization must also be able to fend off enemies. Know who your competitors are. Keep an eye on them. Understand the laws involved with your organization (or hire someone who does). Avoid conflict when possible but don’t be afraid to defend yourself when in danger. It’s a tough world out there.

Lessons learned from the bees

* Have a clear mission and see that the entire team understands that mission

* Give your team members clear specific responsibilities

* See that every member is trained in at least three areas for promotion and replacement purposes (as well as job satisfaction)

* Make use of seasonal help for temporary booms in work load

* Outsourcing is your friend

* Understand your competition

5 Honeymoon travel tips for the” poor”

Posted by Wealth Group | 11:03 AM | 0 comments »

Set a budget, go to a travel agent and find the best and cheapest travel packages available. After all this is your honeymoon you want it to be special but you also don't want to come back from your honeymoon, and then realize that you are broke and have to live off bread and peanut butter for three months.

Arrange all you honeymoon plans before hand, you don't want to run around and make travel arrangements on the day of your wedding. Make your reservations at least 4 to 6 months ahead of time, to get the most suitable rooms and the best flight times.

Don't go to a particular destination, at the wrong season. Your time their will be boring, uninteresting and u will wish that your honeymoon was over. Plan ahead and find out which season is suitable for a great honeymoon.

Don't check in your wedding dress at the airport, take it with you on the plane. You don't want to arrive at your destination and find that your dress has disappeared. This will only upset u and u will start thinking about funny little things, like this is a sign that u shouldn't get married. Please take your dress with you on the plane we don't want you to leave your husband to be, high and dry at the altar.(the same goes for the groom)

Take all your documents with you in your handbag. Don't leave it in the hands of airport officials. When your luggage disappears, all you will get from them will be a look of confusion.

The Half Moon - (Ardha Chandrasana)

'Chandra' in a Sanskrit language means moon, and 'Ardha' means half, and as the posture resembles the half moon, hence the name.

The Half Moon posture tones the lower region of the spine and the nerves connected with the leg muscles. It is highly effective for strengthening the legs, buttocks, abdomen, knees and the ankles. The leg strength is gained from balancing on one leg.

The Ardha Chandrasana stretches the groins, hamstrings, calves, shoulders, chest, and the spine. It improves coordination and sense of balance. It helps relieve stress and improves digestion.

You are not ready for the Half Moon posture if your body and top shoulder are dropping forward. Use a support (at first use a chair, then once you are comfortable with the chair use a box that is lower than the chair), until your body is strengthens enough to hold a beautiful and straight Half-Moon posture.

When you are ready to reach down and up simultaneously, you will reintegrate parts that feel separate from the whole and recognize that the body is a whole made of parts that are all aware of each other.

Note: If you have any neck problems, do not turn your head to look upward; continue looking straight ahead.

Although the Half Moon posture has many benefits, in some health conditions it should not be practiced.

Three important reasons not to do Half Moon posture:

1) Do not practice this posture if you have hips injuries.

2) If you have low blood pressure, avoid this posture.

3) In case of shoulder injury do not attempt this posture.

Caution: Always check with your doctor if you have any doubts or concerns regarding the suitability of this posture for you. It is best to perform this yoga posture in presence of a qualified yoga teacher.

Honeymoon Ideas You Can Do

Posted by Wealth Group | 7:03 PM | 0 comments »

If you simply would like your honeymoon to turn out a little more unique than the usual, then the following should give you some helpful ideas:

Go for Luxury…

Taking on a cruise is one honeymoon idea you can do. You can choose from several honeymoon cruise and travel places of your choice while enjoying each other's company in a luxurious ship packed with everything you need. Better yet, exchange vows in the middle of the seas and spend the rest of the night watching stars and walking on the ship deck.

Booking on a most luxurious suite on the highest floor of the hotel. Here, you are pampered with the best services you can get while seeing the city up high. Booking for a luxurious hotel accommodation is always money well spent.

Staying at a luxurious resort in one of the islands of the Caribbean, Hawaii, Fiji or Asia is another honeymoon idea you can do. Spend the week at a tropical paradise while enjoying the resort amenities. Take the waters and head for the sun during the day. Spend hours in the open sea either doing some water sports or seeing the underwater world with a scuba or snorkel.

Another honeymoon idea is booking for an exclusive villa in a secluded island resort. Here, the freedom is yours to do everything you want to and you can experience the total privacy you've wanted to have.

Roaming the city street of Europe and tasting the food and culture of its countries is another honeymoon idea you can do. Go to England, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, and other European nation and experience the magnificence of the cities established centuries back.

Budget conscious…

Spend the week in your house with champagne or wine would be enough to complete your honeymoon experience. Do nothing. Sleep anytime of the day. Lie on the bed together the whole day. Watch movies together. Do everything you want. After all the beauty of your honeymoon rests on both of you alone.

Go to one of your weekend getaways and spend the day doing something special. You can re-live your first days of dating or reminisce the early days of your relationship. You can also go to the place where you first met or dine at the restaurant where you first dated. These things could be enough to say that your honeymoon is complete.

How to Boost Your Fertility While You Sleep

Posted by Wealth Group | 11:03 AM | 0 comments »

Many, many years ago, all that children received on their birthday was presents, and a cake, and perhaps a small party if they were good............boy have things changed!

The inflatable products market is really "taking off" (if you excuse the pun!) as more and more children follow the trend for larger and better birthday parties. The industry is unrecognisable from only 5 years ago, and has become more professional and focused, as the craze sweeps around the World.

Bouncy castles, slides and combos are now common-place at local fairs, churches, schools, parties - it seems that where there are children, there is a necessity for better and better children's entertainment.

As the market continues to grow, so the range and number of suppliers / manufacturers and hire companies expands further and further. The range of products covers the smallest of one person slides, to the largest inflatable castle that you could imagine. So what is really fuelling the increase in demand?

There are a number of factors involved in this phenomenal growth, which include falling purchase and hire costs, product quality and most importantly the safety aspect. While safety has always been a major issue with children's products, advances over the last few years have increased user confidence.

Also, the industry is now well encamped in the part-time home business market, which is proving more and more popular as people look for ways to top-up their normal income and give their families that little bit extra. The ease of access to the ever changing range of products, simple operation instructions and a useful income for those willing to work, have all contributed to a substantial increase in demand.

The attraction to party planners, fair organisers and the like is simple - guaranteed money! At these fund raising events the first thing the children will make for is the bouncy castle, and you will not see the adults complaining - a few minutes of peace and quiet!

What is the attraction for parents, and birthday parties? There are many reasons why this private party market is becoming more popular, but perhaps the main on is that the kids actually love them. Bigger and better, more colourful than before, with additional play areas, a quality inflatable will keep the kids busy for hours. As the children are all confined into this relatively small play area, it is much easier to handle slightly bigger parties than before.

The inflatable industry actually began in the UK, many years ago, before spreading to that generator of trends, the USA. As the US market becomes more and more saturated with an increasing number of entrants to the industry, many companies have spread their operations to Europe, and other overseas markets.

So where will the market go from here? The inflatable industry is proving more and more innovative with new products being introduced all of the time, including interactive areas where kids can play with inflatable toys - safe from harm, but having great fun. What next?

So you want to take a vacation in the Caribbean?

You're reading this article because you want some help in making a decision about where in the Caribbean to go for your vacation?

It is sensible to take some time over choosing your Caribbean Vacation Destination, because it may come as a surprise to you, that not all Caribbean island destinations are the same!!

The Caribbean islands have a reputation for their beaches, but there is lots more, so if you are looking for more than just beaches for your vacation, there will be something here for you.

Firstly let us look at how the various islands are different

1. The weather can be different on different Caribbean Islands.

This is due to different things such as mountains, the trade winds, and even where the islands are located.

If you take as an example the Caribbean island of Aruba, it has a desert climate where cacti and aloe grow more readily than fragrant hibiscus.

On the other hand Puerto Rico is mountainous, so it would be perfect for the hiker, and of course it is much cooler at altitude.

2. There are cultural differences between different Caribbean Islands.

There is a lot of french style in the French West Indies especially Martinique.

The Netherland Antilles will give you Dutch Colonial style.

On the other hand for more than a few traces of her former military might then the British West Indies still is terribly British!!

All of this is of course as a result of these islands being a part of a colonial past, and the language used can be a fascinating mix.

3. Activities on offer are the key to your Caribbean Vacation, and this is where your choice is so important.

The Caribbean is beautiful both above and below the sea, as well as there being mountains, and beaches, there is also the remnants of the colonial history to look at.

The Caribbean has many Carnivals to attract visitors but you need to make the right choices based upon what YOU want to do.

a. Jamaica

Lots of visitors flock to Jamaica because of its'beaches and resorts. Destinations like Negril, Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, and Kingston, are all part of Caribbean Vacation folklore.

You might choose to explore the Blue Mountains, or play golf on a former plantation, and the food is quite unique and delicious. Having said that if I wanted to go scuba diving or snorkelling, then Jamaica would not be my first choice.

b. You may then want to try Cancún

Cancun itself may not be your ideal Caribbean destination as it can be packed with students at certain times of the year. However whilst Cancún may have lovely beaches and incredible nightlife, you must not overlook Cozumel which offers superb diving.

You could try the Mayan Riviera where you can find family orientedless crowded places like Playa del Carmen, and if you want Mayan ruins then go to Tulum.

c. The Bahamas could be the place for you

Now you may not like the Bahamas because of the amount of Caribbean cruise ships that visit, bringing with it cowded towns, but on the other hand if busy ports and beaches are your thing, you'll love it.

What is suggested here is you visit the Out Islands, or perhaps follow Ernest Hemingway's past escapes, or just sail around the islands, there will be somewhere in the Bahamas for you.

d. Puerto Rico is very well recommended, because of the variety of attractions

This Caribbean island has everything from mountains, to historic towns like Old San Juan to a bit of diving and snorkelling.

You should visit Ponce on the southern coast for a touch of something a little different? and its rainforest, El Yunque, is the only rainforest in the U.S. National Parks system.

San Juan has it all, from beaches to shopping, casinos, and nightlife, although that in itself will put off some readers.

4.There are also natural groupings of Caribbean Islands

a. The Virgin Islands are a sailor's paradise, whether you visit The British Virgin Islands or the U.S.

Here you'll find beautiful crystal clear waters and plenty of places to see.

St. Thomas offers shopping.

St. Croix features historic Dutch buildings.

St. John is home to a wildlife reserve.

The U.S. Virgin Islands is a great place if you snorkel or scuba dive.

b. The British Virgin Islands are much more peaceful with island names from the era of pirates.

You could go to Barbados, another very British island, and perhaps watch cricket.

There is Bermuda, although strictly not a Caribbean island, people tend to include it, and it is yet another example of Great Britain's colonial past, with policemen, golf, and buildings.

The sister islands of Antigua and Barbuda are also known for beautiful beaches and rich British history, as well as incredible sailing.

c. Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao, known as the ABC Islands, are three of the Netherlands Antilles located just north of Venezuela's coast. With the added distinction of being outside the Caribbean's ?Hurricane Belt,? this trio of islands offers some unusual desert climates, but fascinating history, and nature unlike what you'll find in the rest of the Caribbean.

5.Some other Caribbean Islands worth considering

a. The Dominican Republic, St. Lucia, Saba, Belize, and Dominica are known for their natural beauty. With mountains, rivers, tropical forests, and reefs to explore.

Each of these has different reasons to visit, whether you're curious about The Dominican Republic's popular surfing beaches, or St. Lucia's famous volcanic peaks, there's sure to be something that is perfect for island explorers.

In conclusion while it may be easy to visualize what some would consider to be typically Caribbean, it may take a little more effort to really pick an island that is perfect for your stay.

Every traveler has his or her own idea of what makes up a great vacation, and a vacation to the Caribbean that fufils your dreams is not difficult to organise.

Caribbean Vacation Spots

Belize is located next to Mexico and Guatemala in Central America. Its shores are lined by the Caribbean Sea, and it's a beautiful tourist destination that is often ignored. Belize is mainly Creole, and the people are peaceful, friendly, and welcome tourists. Many find this a nice change from some of the Caribbean destinations where tourists often feel unwelcome.

Belize is a lazy, relaxed, laid back place where wrist watches almost have no meaning. Many westerners find it hard to adjust to this after their hectic city lifestyle. Another feather in Belize's cap is that it is an English speaking place making one and all feel comfortable.

One thing to be aware of is that Belize is one of the more expensive places to visit in Central America. However, in comparison to many destination spots, you can still lodge and play here even if you are confined to a budget. Accommodations run the gamut from luxury resorts, to hostels, and inexpensive hotels.

Belize is great for the outdoor lover. You'll find protected natural habitats, as well as coral reefs and rainforests. Fish and mammals abound so nature lovers will be in their element. If archeology is your passion you won't want to miss the ancient Mayan ruins. You can schedule day trips with tour guide agencies and learn much about the meanings of the ruins as well as their rich history.

Lamanai is a Mayan site that is a must see. It consists of 60 or so structures that were inhabited from 1500 BC until the Spanish arrived. To reach this site you must take a 90 minute boat trip where you can see plenty of species of birds along with crocodiles. Xunantunich is another archaeological site that holds much history and is a fascinating area.

You can indulge in snorkelling or scuba diving at the Belize Reef and the Cayes, which is the longest reef in Western Hemisphere. Belize's underwater world displays a very colourful reef and showcases many beautiful examples of marine life such as tropical fish.

The tropical weather in Belize is generally hot and humid particularly in summers, though the evenings tend to get a little cold. Therefore, while packing all tourists must make considerations of the weather and include a few sweaters besides the host of shorts, t-shirts and bathing suits.

To get to Belize you can travel to the international airport in Belize City from several major airports in the United States as well as from most Central American cities. The best time to go to Belize is from November to May or June. July to November is hurricane season so you may be tempting fate. In addition, the temperatures and humidity during the summer and fall months can be almost unbearable, especially if you have your heart set on visiting some archaeological sites.

Be sure to consider a visit to the small but beautiful country of Belize. It offers a variety of activities including just soaking up the sun at the beach, exploring a terrific underwater paradise, and seeing some amazing history created by its original citizens.

Belize - Perfect Holiday Destination

Posted by Wealth Group | 11:03 AM | 0 comments »

Central America plays host to tourist at its many Caribbean destinations. One such lesser known destination is Belize, located near Mexico and Guatemala. It is a peaceful & beautiful place with the Caribbean Sea right at its doorstep. Belize is primarily Creole and its people friendly and welcoming. This very factor makes it different and better than other Caribbean destinations which are not so welcoming.

Belize is English speaking, which makes it a great destination for people who feel uncomfortable when out of their element. Some Westerners find it hard to adjust when they first arrive to Belize since the attitude of the people is very laid back and relaxed. No one is ruled by their wristwatch here.

Belize offers all kind of accommodation, resorts, hotels, even budget hotels. It is neither inexpensive as some of the other destinations of Central America nor is it too expensive. In fact it is okay for all kind of tourists to stay here.

Belize has great outdoors it is home to many natural habitats, coral reefs and rainforests to name a few. Belize is a naturist's paradise, having many different types of sea life such as fishes and mammals can be found in its waters. Belize has something to offer to everybody. It also has archaeological attractions, in the form of Mayan ruins. You can take a day off to experience for yourself the rich historical background that these ruins display.

One such Mayan site having 60 structures is Lamanai, dating back to 1500 BC. This ruin is 90 minutes away by boat showcasing various forms of seal life on the way such as crocodiles. Another very interesting Mayan site is Xunantunich.

Most Central American cities as well as several international airports in the United States connect to Belize City. The best months for your visit are November to May or June. Hurricanes tend to strike from July to November, so you may want to avoid traveling to Belize during those months. Remember too, that the most heat and humidity occur during the summer months. If you plan to study some archeology, you most likely would find the temperatures hard to stand tolerate.

Belize is a perfect holiday destination particularly for those, active tourist who like to do something more then lazing on a beautiful beach. They have the option of choosing between a rich underwater sea world and the spectacular Mayan ruins.

Techniques of Seduction

Posted by Wealth Group | 7:03 PM | 0 comments »

We tend to think of seduction as something we do at the beginning of a relationship. After all, is the act of showing our interest, our availability, our desires and our urge to have sexual contact with the person whom we are trying to seduce. Night-clubs are obvious places to see examples of seduction, dancing is an ideal way of seducing somebody. However, seduction isn't reserved for new relationships, it can also spice up old relationships too.

When the honeymoon period has slipped past the relationship a couple can find themselves getting a little complacent. The sparkle goes and although the sex might still be good, the 'Wow' factor has gone because some of the passion has been lost. It is a mistake to put this down to familiarity and to think that all relationships end up like this. A lot of people fall into this way of thinking, but all it takes is a little seduction to remedy it.

To show your partner that you sexually desire them and that you want them sexually right away is the key to bringing the sparkle back. Saying it doesn't have the same effect you must show them. Like they say, actions speak louder than words.

Here are some seduction techniques that you could try…

After a long herd day at work who would turn down a sensual massage? Get some warming massage oil and start by massaging your partners neck and shoulders. After a while, make an excuse to mover their top. Then continue massaging adding soft kisses as you go. Slowly let the passion build, let the kisses turn to nuzzling and allow your hands to slowly wander down to massage the chest and tummy.

For the girls, use sexy lingerie to seduce your man. Have a bath or shower to freshen up and to make your skin soft and then slip into something more comfortable and slightly revealing. Apply some high shine lip-gloss to your lips and slowly enter the room. Linger long enough for the lingerie to work its magic and cuddle up next to him and maybe caress his hand or arm. Touching and flicking your hair is an unspoken 'come on' signal. If you need a more in your face approach, sit on his lap, be alluring and strike up a sexy conversation about erotic fantasies.

Long-term couples forget the power of a snog on the sofa. Seduce your partner by initiating a lamp lit snogging session on the sofa. You could do this by offering them a Malteezer that you are holding in your teeth. Whilst your snogging start off with lots of non sexual but intimate touching, hold you lovers face as you kiss them, stroke their head and neck, run your fingers through their hair. A quick tip – a freshly cleaned mouth is so much more inviting to kiss.

Strip tease is a very old tried and tested technique for seduction. There are many books, DVD's and websites available offering instruction on how to perform an erotic dance or strip tease to seduce your lover. The important thing to focus on is the 'tease' and not the 'strip'. Take your time, make it last, really tease him and let the passion build.

It does take some effort to re-find seduction, but if you keep working at it you will soon get back into the habit of seducing your partner and you will find that you can seduce them whilst they are washing up, taking a shower, ironing or doing anything, anywhere. Feel like young lovers again and keep the passion alive in your relationship.

Marrakech A Riad Or A Kasbah For Your Stay?

Posted by Wealth Group | 11:03 AM | 0 comments »

So you want to go to Marrakech for a vacation, or a weekend, do you stay in a hotel, a riad or a Kasbah.

You can stay in an hotel anywhere so why not try a Riad or a Kasbah.

A Riad is an urban house that is situated in the old city, or the medina. It is totally authentic old Morocco, totally tranquil, architecturally beautiful, very traditional, and often extremely luxurious with no money spared in the conversion. Because of the way that houses are designed you could pass one, and not know it was there, because they are inherently private and closed off, with no outside windows, the only access being down an alleyway, so no cars.

The riad is organised around a central courtyard, with all the rooms going off that, the kitchen and living rooms on the ground floor, and the bedrooms upstairs, often with a rooftop terrace covered by an awning, and meals are often taken there..

There will be a balustrade running right round the first floor, and the courtyard will have a central fountain, and orange and lemon trees.

Because of the thick walls, designed to keep out both the winter cold, and the summer heat, there is no sound of traffic.

A riad is the ideal place to stay if you want to be town, and no distance from all the action.

Riads in Marrakesh include, Tigmi, Villa Des Orangers, Caravanserai, Riad Al Moussika, Riad Kaiss, but there are said to be over 300 foreign owned riads in Marrakech at this time.

An alternative is to stay in a modernised Kasbah, a real name from the Arabian Nights!!

A kasbah is one notch up from a riad, like a castle or a large fortified country house. Most are enclosed by high pisé walls — made from red earth mixed with straw — which were designed to protect those inside from attackers, and to guard the honour of the owner's harem. There are hundreds of kasbahs dotted across the south of Morocco, many dating back as far as the 14th century, some with beautifully carved walls, and a number of them have now been restored to their former splendour and have become Kasbah hotels, each different and within easy access to Marrakesh.

.The owner of Kasbah Agafay, one such beautifully restored Kasbah has had a genius of an idea, and he has opened a 'club' in Marrakech, which is about half an hour away, and is called Kssour Agafay.

In this way his guests can spend a few days unwinding in the country, then go to Marrakech for the day, leaving their shopping there, have tea, and generally treat it as a members club. The 15th century town house is bang in the medina and it doubles as a boutique hotel. You'll want to join so you can use the bar, sitting room, rooftop terrace and the six boldly coloured rooms.

This is a perfect arrangement with the fun of Marrakech, and the tranquillity and beauty of the Moroccan countryside, and the fascination of a beautifully restored Kasbah to go back to after the hustle and bustle.

Apart from Kasbah Agafay, you might care to look at Kasbah Tamadot, a Richard Branson inspiration, Kasbah Du Toubkal, which has no vehicular access.

Whether you choose a riad, or a Kasbah, or both you are assured of great comfort, superb food, and wonderful hospitality

Browse the internet for remedies to treat cough and you will find tens of them from all the world countries use Lemon or Orange , and a fewer number uses honey with or without Lemon.

Unfortunately, they use them the wrong way that made people prefer to use supplementary vitamin C for more convenience and with comparable results. Almost all people CUT the lemon and squeeze it to get its juice, yet cutting the Lemon peel may release enzymes recently found in the rind of many fruits, and these enzymes may change some costituints of the Lemon juice.

For hundreds of years, the best way to use Lemon to cure cough was to boil the INTACT Lemon in water before squeezing it, and no body knew why. In view of the recent findings, the cause may be that boiling the lemon kills enzymes present in its rind ( enzyme denaturation).

The procedure to prepare the best natural cure of cough is as follows:

1- Fill a can with water and put a middle or big sized Lemon.

2- Leave the can to boil for about 10-15 minutes till it bocomes soft but intact.

3- Take the Lemon and squeeze it to extract its juice.

4- Clear the juice or filter it.

5- Add the juice to 1/2 cup of honey ( or about 60 ml).

Some people - including me- add 30 ml ( 2 tablespoonful ) glycerin to the Lemon juice before adding honey.

Take 1 tablespoonful 3 times a day.

This is the best known natural cure of cough of people of any age through all times. Prepare for the fall and winter the right and easy way.

Things To Do In Goa

Posted by Wealth Group | 7:03 PM | 0 comments »

There are so many things to do in Goa, it is difficult to know where to start.

Firstly there is some of the most stunning buildings to visit, and a trip to Panaji will lead you St Cajetan's Church, Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate, Secretariat's Building, the Se cathedral; Asia's largest church and Basilica of Bom Jesus.

If you are a museum lover, then the Rachel Museum of Christian Art is unmissable, and you can add to this list the Kerkar Art Complex, and the Cocoon Art Gallery.

For those interested in military history, you must visit Fort Aguada.

Temples are another 'must see' in Goa, and principally on your list should be the Shree Mahalaxmi Temple, the Shree BhagawatiTemple, the Shree Hanuman Temple, and the Damodar Temple. You should also visit the holy centre of Safa Shahouri Masjid.

There are several wildlife sanctuaries, and you must visit the Bhagwan Mahavir Sanctuary which is rich in wildlife, and a definite must for birdwatchers. The Dudhsagar Waterfalls are a mighty 600 meters high, and there are few more impressive waterfalls. Finally you could if you wish take an elephant ride. The Carambolin Lake is a place to visit for bird watching, possibly a bit boring for children, so take them to the artificial Mayem Lake, where you can take them in pedal boats, and if you choose to, try the Kesarval medicinal Spring bath.

Most Goa Hotels have Ayuvedic Therapies, which are reputed to rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul, but the most famous place for Ayuvedic Therapy is Keri village..

Why not take a Crocodile Cruise into the backwaters around Goa, and see not only crocodiles but also all sorts of wildlife. Water is so closely associated with life that a river cruise on the River mandovi is yet another option.

Finally we return to the beautiful beaches of Goa where apart from sunbathing, why not try parasailing or jet skiing.

The list whilst by no means endless will I hope help you to plan your vacation in Goa.

A GOA Travel Guide

Posted by Wealth Group | 3:03 AM | 0 comments »

Goa has a certain reputation, which dates back as far as the 1960's, where it was regarded as a hippy paradise, a place for dropouts, and flower power, a not to be missed place for travellers, and probably regarded as the world centre for dope.

All of this whilst not totally inaccurate might put you off a visit to Goa, which would be a mistake. Sure Goa can still be the place for all night parties, and beaches crowded with people selling hash to fund their alternative lifestyles, but there is much more to Goa than that.

As background, Goa was a Portugese colony for hundreds of years, and that length of stay, they were finally kicked out in 1961, leaves an indelible impression, from Portugese churches, the fact that 30% of the population is Catholic. You will find European style villas scattered around in the rice fields, palm groves, often bearing coats of arms, and many imposing houses behind walls and locked gates. All of this makes Goa completely different to anywhere on the Indian Sub Continent.

Although Goa was colonised by the Portugese over 500 years ago, it has new colonists, in that literally thousands of tourists visit every winter, many from Europe, but there is also a new generation of middle class young Indians from places like Delhi and Mumbai.

There is a definite divide between on one hand the young generation, bombing around on bikes, going from one beach to another, having a great and very noisy time, often partying all night. This makes parts of Goa a nightmare for the middle class tourist who seeks a quiet quality five star resort, but the great joy of Goa, is that it has the room, the culture, the scenery to cope with both ends of the spectrum.

So if you are looking for bargain prices, cheap accommodation, crowded beaches, hawkers, and action of the legal and perhaps slightly illegal kind, where food and drink are cheap, and the weather is fantastic then Goa is the place for you.

On the other hand if your pleasure is to found in historic sites, on deserted beaches, or on the beach of a luxury resort, then go to the very far north or the deep south, and Goa will be a dream come true for you.

Be warned however, many have come here for a vacation, and been seduced – They have never gone home, it's that kind of paradise!!

How ordinary people can make so much money working only 8 days a month. Looking for your own home business? A business that only needs part-time hours? We may have the answer.

There are very few business ventures which can be run on a part-time basis, but children's entertainment, inflatable castles, slides and combos is a true part-time business. Weekends are by far the most popular time for hiring out inflatables. Are you prepared to give up 2 days a week, 8 days a month?

What kind of outlay would your venture require? Basically as much as you are willing to put in, whether you buy one inflatable product, or a number and increase your range, it is up to you. We also offer financing which will help reduce the initial outlay, and increase your path to profitable trading.

The wider the range of inflatables you have to offer, the quicker you will build up your business. All you need to do is turn up at the location, inflate the product, and after a little advice to the client, you an return in a few hours time to pack it all away.

If you are willing to put in the time, it is relatively easy to earn a high income from a small initial investment. Structure your client's timings and you can have a number of inflatables on hire over one weekend.

Many years ago I was in full time employment, your basic 9 til 5 job. Nice salary, nice job, but no real prospects, and the harder I worked the more money the owners made. Then I decided to branch out with a "little" sideline. Party Rental.

I started to research the areas of Party Rental which were most attractive, and profitable, and I noticed that inflatables were becoming more and more popular. Then I started to notice my friends were renting them, then my kids started asking about them.

I started with a purchase of a regular castle for $1500, and began to rent it out on Saturdays and Sundays, for $100 a day. I dropped the castle off at the customer's house, park, etc, inflated the product, and went through the dos and don'ts with the customer. This took no longer than 30mins, then I went home and returned later in the day. It was very easy.

I decide to take a "chance" and expand the business. Rather than buy a new castle outright, I took the finance option as I was unwilling to commit too much money in the short term. This was an even quicker route to profitability, and the work began to mount up, the enquiries kept coming. After a few months, I decided to take the plunge, and go full time. I left my full time employment and began to expand my inflatables business.

I took on more castles, received more enquiries, and started to take on trusted friends to help with the business. I now have in excess of 10 castles available, with income of $2000 a week, and growing. I was prepared to put the time and effort into the venture, and it is the best move I ever made - dare you take the plunge? Are you willing to put in the time and effort?

How can a blister, a scratch or a wound in the skin of diabetes patients lead to % 50 of all cases of lower leg amputations?

The answer is in the nature of a diabetic skin and the stage at which treatment of the wound starts. Were that wound in the skin of a normal person, his blood would transport all the normal defense and healing elements required for healing the wound and repairing the skin, with the least medical care.

Nevertheless, in diabetes patients, the complications of diabetes involve thick blood, atherosclerosis and vessels fragility, all leading to poor blood supply of the leg specially the lower part inducing a dryTHIN skin that is vulnerable to the least mechanical assault.

The other crucially important complication of diabetes that relates to wounds is diabetic neuropathy which affects nerves resulting in a reduced or abolished feeling in the feet, ie. no pain or no signal to the patient who do not feel the injury.

The unnoticed scratch or wound in a diabetic leg gets bigger and deeper and affects the underlying tissues, such as muscles and tendons and becomes an opened gateway for infection which may reach the horrible stage of "gangrene" with which we may not avoid amputation.

When discovered, the wound receives intensive medical care that may reach skin substitution, in which a carrier material containing genetically engineered growth factors to encourage new tissue growth, and/or a synthetic form of natural proteins that help promote growth.

How can a diabetic avoid foot wounds:

There are many recommendations for diabetes patients to guard against wound formation and to discover them as soon as they are formed, like:

* Carefully dry your feet after bathing, specially between the toes.

* Don't walk around bare foot, not even indoors.

* Don't cut your nails yourself, have it done by a nurse.

* Avoid synthetic socks, wear cotton ones and wear the recommended shoes

* Avoid hyperglycemia and regulate your diet and treatment to adjust your blood Glucose.

The most important recommendations which represents the right clue to fight diabetes wounds and avoid prognosis to amputation stage are:

1- Ask your doctor or nurse to check your feet every visit.

2- INSPECT YOUR FEET DAILY FOR CUTS, WOUNDS, CALLUS OR INFECTED NAILS.

As this represents the starting point of extinguishing a small fire before it expands to burn the whole foot leading to its amputation.

Now, what if you apply a hydrating cream on your soles, feet and legs daily, instead of just inspecting them?. It is more safe and ensures a healthier skin that is not too fragile to break with the least external mechanical assaults.

Moreover, what if you repair any unnoticed cracks or scratches in your feet on daily basis? you want to know how?, it is simple :

Add Panthenol, Methionine, Honey, Propolis to your hydrating cream and this will endow your skin all the requirements for self repair.

Honey is used for wounds since very long times and now in England.

Propolis is clinically investigated in Europe, Japan and USA for use in wounds.

Panthenol and metionine are nutritive materials that have a vital role in repairing the skin.

The Formula

Panthenol 2 g

Methionine 1 g

Propolis 1 g

Hydrating cream 50 g

Part of this cream is admixed with equal part of honey and applied to the skin daily.

Honey for Diabetes

Posted by Wealth Group | 7:03 PM | 0 comments »

Diabetes patients suffer a reduced amount of Insulin secreted in response to any glucose introduced into their blood. Consequently, they have a restricted food amounts and varieties. The restrictions put on their food deprive them of many elements in their natural form.

Diabetes patients are banned from sugar, yet they can't abandon sweeteners. To replace sugar in their food and drinks, diabetes patients use synthetic sweeteners like Aspartam which is a synthetic chemical agent without any nutritive value, and sometimes it is combined with starch derivatives which releases glucose into the blood.

In many countries, diabetes patients use honey in place of sugar.

Apart from the debate about the compared absorbed amounts of glucose after ingesting sugar or honey which favours honey to avoid high concentration of glucose after eating sugar, I will stress 2 points in honey, these are:

1- CALORIE CONTENT:

Honey is 3 times as sweet as sugar, then if one needs 30 g of sugar, he may replace them with 10 g of honey. The needed amount of sugar (30g) produces 120 Kcal, while the equivalent honey amount(10 g) produces 32 Kcal.

2- MICRO-NUTRIENTS: These are subdivided into 2 categories:

l- Vitamins:

Some vitamins are highly needed by diabetes patients and are recommended by physicians to all diabetes patients, they are vitamin B1,B6, B12 ,C ,E and Biotin.

Honey - specially the unfiltered summer honey when the bee only uses nectar to make honey - is a good source of mostof these vitamins, at least to supply a part of the RDA in natural form. There was vitaminized honey in the former USSR, where the bee was fed fruits and vegetables juice to produce this sort of honey, otherwise synthetic vitamins were added to honey to be used by diabetic patients.

ll- Trace elements:

* Chromium is a critical nutrient in diabetes. It is presented as a supplement for people with, diabetes, pre-diabetic glucose intolerance and women with diabetes associated with pregnancy.

* Manganese is present in diabetics in 1/2 its amount that is present in normal individuals.

* Magnesium is significantly lowered in diabetes patients.

* Vanadium given to diabetics proved to decrease their Insulin needs.

* Zinc deficiency has been suggested to play a role in the development of diabetes in humans. It is involved in virtually all aspects of Insulin metabolism, synthesis, secretion and utilization.

* Potassium supplementation yields improved Insulin sensitivity.

Honey contains all elements present in the soil, specially if it is not deprived of pollen grains.

If you cut 40-50 g of your carbohydrate intake daily and replace them with honey, you will make a great favour to your body.

Review Of Honey, We’re Killing The Kids!

Posted by Wealth Group | 11:03 AM | 0 comments »

Honey, We're Killing the Kids is a nutrition and healthy living reality show that premiered in the United States on The Learning Channel (TLC) in 2006. The show originated in the UK as a BBC healthy living series. The US installment is a one hour weekly series hosted by Dr. Lisa Hark.

The show, intended to be an intervention -- or well executed wake up call - to American families who lead a predominantly unhealthy lifestyle, has been criticized for using extreme computer generated images of what the children will look like if their lifestyle is not immediately altered by their parents. The families who are featured on the show have as least two children who range in age from toddler through teenager. One, if not all, of the family members are overweight or obese and usually eat fast or processed foods and log in far more television, computer and video game hours than any time spent exercising.

By the time we first meet the parents of the family being featured in the episode, the children have already met with doctors to assess their overall health, including food intake and lifestyle habits. The parents join nutritionist Lisa Hark to view life-size computer generated images that show what each of their children will look like by the age of 40 if their eating and lifestyle does not change. The images usually startle the parents; the pictures show extremely overweight, unhealthy and unkempt individuals who truly present a worst-case scenario. Critics of the show claim that these images are very extreme, perpetuating the myth that all overweight people are dirty, sloppy and unhappy people. The show is guilty of adding body piercings, unruly facial hair and mullets on people who otherwise might not wear them

However, the wake up call is enough to get a commitment from the parents, who thus embark on a month long health improvement plan, featuring a radical change in diet and a bevy of exercise and family outings that replace the hours once spent in front of the TV. The success of the program varies from family to family and the stress of the changes usually falls upon the mother who is accountable for learning how to make tofu attractive to her children. Many times the father puts up as much a fuss as the kids. The mothers are trying to eat healthy and quit smoking themselves and often crack under the pressure of too many changes at once.

At the end of each episode, once weight changes and lifestyle changes are noted, the computer generates a new set of pictures - usually showing not only a thinner 40 year old, but one in snappy professional clothes bearing an overall clean cut, meticulous and happy presence.

The show allows us one more peek into the family's life. The cameras visit them one month after the show stops filming. Most of the families are filmed smiling and happy, riding together on new bikes, and each appears to have lost at least ten pounds. Only one family during Honey's first season refused to be filmed for the follow up; we can surmise their bikes are gathering dust in the garage.

A wedding is one of the most stressful events of your life. With all the ceremony, anxiety and organisation, it's no wonder that people started taking a holiday straight after marriage to get away from the relatives and just enjoy each other's company.

Honeymoons have changed over the years. Destinations that are more romantic are often being replaced with more exotic getaways, sunny or tropical countries. Some people do still pick the romantic places however, not necessarily going abroad to find the perfect retreat. Many couples take their honeymoon in a place that has nostalgic value, like a city that the couple met in or had their first date. An increasing trend for honeymoons is totally wild and unexpected places like safaris or mountain climbing.

The word honeymoon is hard to pin down for an origin. Some say that it comes from ancient times in Babylon when the father of a bride, in an attempt to make the husband more virile, would supply him with as much mead as he could drink for a month. The mead is made from honey and the moon denotes a period of a month. This theory however is often set aside in favour of other theories. One put forth by an old English dictionary suggests that instead of a month of sweetness the term refers to the suggestion that a new marriage starts pleasant and sweet but will soon wane just like the moon.

Honeymooners should be careful when picking a location. First of all, many travel agents offer deals for honeymooners so shop around and don't be afraid to say that you are going on a honeymoon. The same goes when you are at your destination; many hotel owners will do you favours such as a bottle of wine if they know you are celebrating marriage. This can go a huge way towards making the time even more special, along with a thoughtful gift and maybe some flowers, and will help you have a honeymoon that you will never forget.

The New Years Honey Cake

Posted by Wealth Group | 7:03 PM | 0 comments »

This time of year always marks the beginning of a very busy month for the Jewish community, there are a few major holidays that take part in a relatively short time with only a few days separating one holiday from the other.

The real excitement is usually over the Jewish new year, which is usually celebrated on September, and which is the first major holiday after Passover which takes place in April, so this is one holiday that gets all the attention. The preparation for "rosh hashana" the new year is, as always, filled with food buying and preparation of many traditional dishes, many of whom represent different things to different communities around the world, the new years feast can be very different from one place to the other.

One special feature of this holiday is the traditional honey cake that is eating in the end of the dinner and is served to guests as well as the family members at every occasion in this month, the honey cake is not only healthy and tasty, it is also a wish for a sweet new year that will come and used to welcome the beginning of the year.

The interesting thing about this traditional cake is that there are a lot of different variations of it, it is one of the most popular dishes that people like to personalize and make a change in, in contrary to many other traditional recipes that are never changed, the basic of this cake and the relative easiness of preparation allows many to try and add something and experiment with the flavors, something that creates a lot of different cakes and a multitude of recipes.

The things you will need to take into account when planning to make a honey cake is that you should use high quality products, the fact that it is not a complicated cake does not make it a cheap one, if you use quality products it will be felt when eaten and the compliments will start knocking on your doors, poor quality honey will not produce the same effect probably because it will not stand the heat of the baking process so well and will effect the cakes takes and texture.

Remember that the best time to make and eat this cake is the end of the summer, even if you are not Jewish it is always nice to think that this cake and the preparation needed in making it encompasses in it a wish for a sweet and good new year, a successful and happy beginning of yet another year.

Let me say one more thing, as many bakers around the world recommend, try and bring the feeling of happiness into the making of the cake, although it can not be tested or quantified a happy baker usually makes great cakes, and the means of doing that are as diverse as the cakes themselves, so sing, dance or just think happy thoughts, and may you have a happy new year, all the year.

Perhaps you are planning a honeymoon for your June wedding - or a romantic getaway with your man. You want to feel sexy. First step: elegant lingerie! However, something that looks good in a catalogue may not emphasize *your* positive features.

Size yourself up in the mirror. Find something about yourself that is especially alluring. Maybe it is your silky-smooth neck, glossy hair, bedroom eyes, or shapely legs. Well-chosen lingerie will draw the eyes to your most attractive features. Your intimate apparel should make you feel like Cleopatra - sexy, alluring, and a little daring.

While checking yourself out in the mirror, determine your body type. There are four main shape classifications:

1. Pear

2. Inverted Triangle

3. Hourglass

4. Apple

Women with pear-shaped bodies often have small breasts and ample hips. If you are concerned about the size of your breasts, give them a boost with a *comfortable* push-up bra. Better yet, wear something that allows just a glimpse of your cleavage - like a keyhole teddy or a skimpy baby-doll nightie that ties at the neck and shows off your legs.

An inverted-triangle body shape often stems from a muscular upper body or large breasts. To draw attention to your breasts, try wearing a chemise with a plunging neckline, a see-through bra - or for the truly adventurous - a corset with nipple cutouts. A low-cut semi-transparent negligee will showcase your breasts while allowing tantalizing glimpses of the treasures wrapped up inside.

Women with hourglass figures are fortunate. Everything will suit you. Instead of concentrating on lingerie (which you know will look good no matter what you pack), you might want to splurge on a pedicure or tint your hair a different color just for the fun and mystery.

Apple shaped? Don't despair! Big is beautiful - and sexy! Try an internet search for 'intimate apparel for plus size women' and you will find thousands of pages to pore through. The selection is comprehensive, including everything from bridal negligees, to naughty chemises, waist-cinching corsets, baby doll ensembles and more. An added plus to internet shopping is that you can purchase without embarrassment and see how things will look by viewing photos of real plus-size lingerie models.

* Color Yourself Hot! *

Decide which colors look most attractive on you. Obtain some fabric remnants from a sewing boutique or colorful items from a thrift shop. Stand in front of the mirror and hold various colors up to your face. If you have sultry blue or green eyes, matching colors may intensify their mystique. Blondes are often flattered by muted pastel shades. Brunettes look fantastic in vibrant, deeper colors. And redheads can sizzle up their look with black teddies edged in red lace or red cinchers trimmed in black. Is your hair black? Experiment with ebony or navy blue trimmed in a color that matches your eyes.

* Getting the Right Size *

When making a lingerie purchase, you absolutely *must* obtain precise body measurements. Use a good-quality measuring tape and be honest. Don't try to squeeze into something that is meant for a 30-inch waist if you are really a 32. There is nothing 'unsexier' than the distressed facial expression caused by wearing an outfit that is 2 sizes too small. If you aren't sure of how to measure yourself correctly, try an internet search like 'how to measure for lingerie'.

* No Fraying or Rips, Please! *

If you plan to pack your existing lingerie, examine it carefully before it goes into your suitcase. Make sure that elastic still stretches. There shouldn't be any fraying or rips. Hold everything up to the light to inspect for damage. Then try it on! Your size may have changed since the last time you wore it. Finally, launder it to make sure that is clean and fresh.

* It's All in Your Head *

Silky lingerie can make you feel like a sex goddess. However, sexy is really a state of mind. A woman with confidence and a smile - who feels at peace with her body - will always be sexy no matter what she is wearing!

Business travel – it's unavoidable. It's a part of the normal business model. Just about everyone will go on a business trip at least once for their company; even you. Regardless of whether you sell cars or design websites, chances are you will travel for business at least once in your professional career.

If you're going on a business trip, below are a few recommendations on how to morph your business trip into a mini vacation. Follow them closely and you're trip won't be all business.

Small Business Travel Tip #1 – Plan Ahead

If you want to make the most out of your trip, the first thing you need to do is clearly list all business-related items that need to be accomplished on your trip. That includes writing an itinerary for all meetings, business lunches, seminars, conference calls, and travel time needed to get to and from each event. This will help you identify any free time you'll have in between your business functions. By writing out your business itinerary and identifying your free time ahead of time, you'll be able to schedule side trips and tours to explore the state or country you're in, and make the most of your trip.

Small Business Travel Tip #2 – Be Realistic

The one thing to remember when you're on a business trip is that you're there to work. Your trip isn't a free pass to go exploring, clubbing, or site seeing. You're being sent to a specific location to do specific work. If you have the opportunity to do anything that isn't work-related, it's going to be small. There won't be time for day trips to the countryside or wine tasting. You may have time to visit a few local sites and maybe a museum or two, but nothing too involved. Don't expect too much personal travel time on a business trip. Remember, you're not there to site see.

Small Business Travel Tip #3 – Consult the Group

After you've made your business itinerary for your business travel trip and identified your free time, check with the coworkers you're traveling with (if any) before you leave to see if they'd mind if you visited a local attraction or point of interest on the trip. This does, however, open up the possibility of your coworkers asking to accompany you on the side trip, but remember; there is power in numbers. If multiple coworkers are going on a side trip, the better your chances are of writing off the excursion as a business expense. You can say it was a "team building" exercise. Informing your travel companions ahead of time will also eliminate the possibility of causing waves when you suddenly disappear during a 3-hour break to visit a local attraction.

Small Business Travel Tip #4 – Book in Advance

If it turns out you'll have a few hours to see the sites on your business travel, be sure to book in advance. Some tours require reservations. So, before you leave for your trip, call ahead and see if you need to make a reservation to see a site or participate in a tour. It will save you time and allow you to better balance your time on your business trip.

Small Business Travel Tip #5 – Be Flexible

Even though you've identified your free time and got the OK from the rest of the travel group to see the city, it is possible that you won't be able to see the sites you planned on seeing during your business trip. Remember, you are traveling for business, so unscheduled or unexpected meetings, conference calls, or business dinners might pop up. You don't want to cancel on a client lunch just to see Alcatraz. Be flexible with your plans and be sure to put business before pleasure.

Business travel is something everyone will experience at least once in their lifetime. However it doesn't have to be all business. Plan ahead using the above mentioned small business travel guide and turn your business travel into a mini vacation.

Remember the old days of airline travel? You drove to the brick-and-mortar travel agency, sat down with a travel agent, and discussed your vacation or business-travel plans. As we all know, those days are long gone. The rise of the Internet and online travel agents has made vacation planning and airline reservations a breeze. Nowadays, you can plan your vacation and book airline tickets at your computer, from the comfort of your home.

Using online travel agents makes vacation planning easier and more efficient than going through a traditional travel agent. You simply input the dates of your departure and arrival, your destination, and which airport you'd like to use. The online travel agent then searches hundreds of fares to find the best one for you, letting you compare offers from dozens of airlines. You can also check fares from airports in the surrounding areas from your chosen airport. Online travel agents also offer you the option of setting up e-mail alerts to find a fare in your preferred cost range.

The Advantage of Online Travel Agents

The benefits of online travel arrangement don't end there, however. Hotel and car reservations are also available when using an online travel agent. Airline reservations can be bundled with deals from car-rental agencies and hotel chains, allowing vacationers, business travelers, and frequent flyers to do some one-stop shopping.

E-tickets are also available when you use online travel agents. Although some passengers feel more secure with a paper ticket in hand, these days, many airlines are charging extra for paper tickets. E-tickets, on the other hand, are cheaper and can be printed from your computer. They also allow passengers to check in online, over the telephone, or via self-service terminals at the airport. With e-tickets, boarding passes may also be printed at virtually any location with an Internet connection and a printer.

But What about the Human Touch?

Some may decry the loss of human contact when making important travel plans with an online travel agent. After all, if reservations are lost or erroneous, it's hard for your computer to lend a sympathetic ear. However, in this 24-hour, workaday world, the convenience of an online travel agent allows travelers to make reservations at any time, not just during business hours. Online travel agents put you in control, allowing you to customize your reservations down to the smallest detail.

Speed, efficiency, and choice are the online travel agent's stock in trade. Take advantage of this technology, and you'll never have to page through a travel brochure again or sit in a travel agent's office again!

We've all seen and heard those commercials on TV and radio spouting forth the glory and amazement that are name your own price plane tickets, but do any of us really know how they work? How can these travel sites (such as Priceline and Hotwire) allow travelers to name their own price on a plane ticket without going bankrupt? It just doesn't seem possible, or at least legit.

Name Your Own Price Plane Tickets - Legit, with Exceptions

The act of naming your own price for plane tickets is simply another form of bidding on airfare. Instead of the airlines setting the price, you do (the prospective purchaser). Travel sites that offer name your own price plane tickets partner with travel consolidators and the airlines to get deep discounts on travel tickets across the globe. They then put these discounted tickets up for auction, allowing the consumer to bid on the plane ticket and set his/her own price.

Of course, this form of ticket purchasing isn't as clear-cut as it may seem. Even though you can name your own price, it doesn't mean you actually get the ticket at that price. Since "naming" actually means "bidding", someone else can "name" a different price (a.k.a. bid a higher amount) and get the plane ticket out from under you. Remember, "Name your own price for plane tickets" is just a fancy way of saying "Bid on airfare".

Name Your Own Price Plane Tickets - Bidding with a Blind Fold On

The big catch with naming your own price on plane tickets is that in many cases you're bidding without knowing the exact airline or flight times. You know the day of the flight before you bid, but you won't know what airline you'll be flying or the flight times until AFTER you've won the auction. And once you've won the auction (by naming your own price on your ticket), you're locked in - you can't back out if you don't like your departure time (i.e. 3 a.m.). So basically, when you're naming your own price on a plane ticket, you're taking a gamble on when you're leaving, how many layovers you'll have (many "name your own price" travel sites only offer flights that have multiple layovers), and what airline you'll be flying.

The Key to Name Your Own Price Plane Tickets- Be Flexible

The key to saving money and your sanity with name your own price plane tickets is to be as flexible as possible. You can find great deals on flights with "name your own price" travel auction sites. You just have to be willing and ready to depart and arrive at weird hours and endure a few layovers. If you're a flexible traveler and don't care what airline you fly, bidding on airfare and naming your own price on plane tickets is your best bet for saving on your flight.
